For the second year in a row, I was proud to represent Bus Stop Films as a Westfield Belconnen Local Hero nominee. And while I did not make the finals this year, there are an incredible list of local individuals and organisations doing great things for our community.

A massive shoutout to What's on Media who assisted with the nomination process and to the team at Bus Stop Films for giving me a weekly platform to inspire, support and grow the aspiring filmmakers who are part of our inclusive classroom. Inclusive filmmaking is more than something we should consider doing every now and then, it should be how we work, create, learn and support each other.

Bus Stop Films is one of the leading filmmaking organisations in Australia, if not across the world, creating opportunity for people with disability to become active and regular members of the film industry. I also accept the nomination of behalf of our Support Worker team in Canberra, our incredible students and our local partners in Screen Canberra and FilmPlus Canberra.
